Why our patients switched from the chains.

  • 01

The same pharmacist greets you every time.

At a chain, you might see a different pharmacist every visit. Here, you build a real relationship — someone who knows you're on two medications that interact, remembers the side effect you asked about, and has your back year after year.

  • 02

We answer to you, not a head office.

When a chain can't stock a medication or won't do a blister pack, it's because head office said no. We make decisions based on what our patients actually need. If you need it, we find a way.

  • 03

Services most chains don't tell you exist.

Most patients don't know compounding is available, that same-day delivery is free, or that a medication review is covered by Alberta Health. These aren't perks. This is just how we run a pharmacy.

Takes 5 minutes

Transfer your prescription. We'll do the rest.

Tell us where you filled last. We call them directly, move your prescriptions over, and bill your insurance the same way you're used to. No paperwork for you — walk in or have it delivered.

Questions we hear most often.

  • How does a prescription transfer actually work?
Tell us your name, date of birth, and the name of your current pharmacy. We contact them directly and move your prescriptions over. Most transfers are done the same day, and you don't need to do anything else.
  • Will my insurance still work at your pharmacy?
Yes. We bill all major private insurance plans and Alberta Health Care the same way your current pharmacy does. Bring your card on your first visit and we'll set everything up. You won't notice a difference on the billing side.
  • Do I have to transfer all my prescriptions at once?
No. You can start with one and move the rest when you're ready, or never — it's entirely up to you. Some patients transfer just their regular refills and keep a specialty prescription elsewhere. We'll work with whatever makes sense for your situation.
  • What areas do you deliver to, and what does it cost?
Free delivery anywhere in SW Edmonton, including Chappelle, Windermere, Desrochers, Allard, and surrounding communities. No charge, no minimum order, same day if your prescription is submitted before noon. Call us to confirm your specific address is covered.
  • What is compounding and would it help me?
Compounding means creating a medication tailored to your specific needs — a different dose, a liquid instead of a pill, or removing an ingredient you react to. It's worth asking about if a standard medication hasn't worked well for you, or if you have a child who can't swallow tablets. A prescription from your doctor is required.
  • Do I need an appointment for a flu shot?
No appointment needed for routine immunizations including the annual flu vaccine, COVID-19 boosters, and most travel vaccines. Walk in any time during our hours. Travel health consultations, which cover vaccines and medications for international trips, are by appointment — call us to book.
  • My parent manages several medications. What can you do to help?
Two things make the biggest difference: blister packs and medication reviews. Blister packs organize everything by day and time — open one, done. A medication review goes through every prescription to check for interactions and simplify where possible. Both are available here, and the review is covered by Alberta Blue Cross.
  • What's the difference between you and Shoppers or Rexall?
The main difference is continuity and accountability. At a chain, staffing rotates and decisions come from head office. Here, you see the same pharmacist, we make decisions based on your situation, and we're reachable directly by phone with no hold queue. We're also a full compounding pharmacy — a service most chains don't offer at all.
